Strategic Sourcing & Procurement is a global organization with regional category teams in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific that, along with a strong core team and procurement alignment, are implementing new sourcing strategies to support Cargill businesses and functions. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement employees gain broad exposure to Cargill businesses as they drive tangible value for the organization. Job Roles and Responsilbility • Responsible to place Orders for materials as per requirement from Originator • Will be responsible to make sure plants receive materials on time as per requirement – should have good communication skills to negotiate price and delivery date confirmation from supplier • Should have ability to bring out Process improvement ideas from existing process as per supply chain principles • Is responsible to build Internal Quality checks to find out mistakes or issues with purchased order that is been send to supplier from existing team • Updating standard operating procedures in case of modification or changes should be incorporated to system and drive towards approval Manage Procurement operations • Converting purchase requisition to purchase order • Purchase order confirmation from supplier • Delivery assurance of materials from suppliers • Manage Inventory / Procurement Records by making sure all Procurement records are in place • Manage Supplier events and Relationships by maintaining adequate work relation with suppliers and having good communication • Drive quality on existing process and work towards continuous improvement within the process. • Drive improvement projects on existing process along with Team Leads 20% Qualifications
Required Qualifications • 1 to 3 years of total & Relevant business experience. • Min 15 years of regular education (Graduation is compulsory) • Microsoft Excel and SAP • Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers • Strong written & verbal communication skills • Good communication skills • Ability to take additional training sessions on Knowledge transfer to team members Preferred Qualifications • MBA on Supply Chain Management or Logistics with 1-3 years of Experience • SAP experience on Material Management or Planning
