SAP PP

The Production Planning (PP) module of SAP provides a fully functional suite of production planning and shop floor execution transactions. Once the master data is defined, demand from sales operation feeds the production planning process. These planning techniques feed the shop floor that executes the plan. The SAP PP modules are use mainly in the manufacturing industry. This component allows you to create BOM, routing, work center, plan orders, production order and confirmation. It is tightly integrated with modules such as SAP MM and SAP SD through the use of MRP which is also part of PP.
